This October, we’ll be celebrating Subaru Loves Pets Month! Subaru of America. Inc. and its retailers are working once again to help local animal rescues and shelters. During this time, Subaru retailers will be partnering with local animal welfare organizations to promote adoptable pets and host adoption events virtually or in person, as permitted.
In honor of the second annual National Make A Dog’s Day on October 22, there will also be a special emphasis on the importance of adopting “Underdogs” – the hard-to-adopt shelter dogs with special needs. Subaru and its retailers are also encouraging dog lovers to do something special for their dog on this day.
Through our long-standing cause partnership, Subaru of America, Inc. has donated more than $28 million to the ASPCA® in support of the animals in need nationwide that we work to rescue, protect and care for year-round. Subaru and its retailers remain dedicated to making the world a better place through their Subaru Love Promise – a pledge to do right by the communities in which we all live and work.
As part of this pledge, Subaru has continued to demonstrate their commitment to keeping animals safe and healthy through the Subaru Loves Pets initiative. Since 2015, over 144,000 animals nationwide have been impacted through this initiative and we are proud to continue to collaborate with Subaru to improve the lives of pets and animals in need.
